When I say prosperity, I’m not just referring to financial riches, but about less tangible things, such as love, friends, kindness, health, compassion, etc. There are various kinds of prosperity and abundance, so by just saying “Thank You” and holding those words inside where they can resonate with your soul, it will help with the connections and good intentions of others to stream into your life and create affirmative experiences. Equally, it’s all right to thank yourself. If you’ve done something positive for yourself, then pat yourself on the back and say, “I Thank Me.” You deserve it!John’s LessonBy giving back, you’re acknowledging and honoring the Divine Source, and by doing so, you’re keeping the energy of the "giving and receiving circle" open and fluid. When you focus on having an attitude of gratitude, you’re adopting a sharing mentality so that everyone benefits.Here are just a few ways you can express gratitude: - Giving love unconditionally
- Giving blessings for what you do have
- Acknowledging a good deed from your neighbor
- Donating your time to your chosen charity
- Giving food or spare money to a homeless person
- Saying a kind word to a stranger
- Sending a card to someone who could use encouragement
- Even a smile is a gift to others
Appreciate all the abundance and goodness that’s around you. Be thankful for your health, children, sunny days, your garden, family, best friends, or even the person who lets you jump ahead in line at the bank! The more joy you begin to notice and appreciate, the easier it becomes for you to experience more happiness, joy, abundance, prosperity, and most importantly – love. Change Your Life  Do you feel like your life could be happier? A better tomorrow could start with something as simple as your attitude.
Our perspectives have a huge effect on our overall level of happiness. They can affect our success as well.
Over time, attitudes become habitual. Because of this, they can take a bit of effort to change, but such work is well worth your time!
Try these techniques to bring greater happiness and success into your life:
1. Start each day by making a mental list of things you're thankful for. You can do this while you're lying in bed just before you get up, in the shower, or while driving to work. This simple mental exercise will adjust your focus to the good things that you already have.
2. Love life, not stuff. Do you feel that having more possessions will make you happy? What usually happens is that, after you acquire something, it never seems to mean as much to you as you thought it would. After the newness wears off, you're back to wanting some more new stuff! So the joy in most new possessions is temporary, at best, and leads to more "wanting."
- The quality of your life itself is what will bring you the most happiness, not the quantity or quality of your stuff.
- Spend some time each day doing what you love.
- Build meaningful relationships that uplift you.
- Take action to create a life filled with what truly means the most to you. 3. Be patient. Our society has trained us to be in a hurry and expect immediate gratification. However,some of the great things in life take time to bring to fruition.
- Enjoy the process of creating the life you desire. Each day will bring you one step closer. Being impatient tends to push your goals farther away.
4. Believe in yourself. Life is much more pleasant when you have faith in yourself. Remember: You've already done things that are much more difficult than just about anything you may still wish to accomplish.
So you know you can achieve your future plans.
- Consider learning to walk. How many times does a baby fall before they finally can stand up unassisted,let alone walk? And we keep learning more over time. Even a 10-year old doesn't walk as well asa 30-year old. It takes many years of practice.
- How many times are you willing to fall down and get back up now? When you believe in yourself and expect success, you're more likely to succeed. Your upbeat attitude will lead you to seek solutions toyour challenges until you reach your goal.
5. Sometimes being smart is sufficient. We often believe that everything worthwhile requires a lot of work. However, many times, approaching challenges by working smart instead of working hard can save a lot of time and grief.
- Sit down and reflect on your situation from the perspective that there's a simple solution to each challenge. You might be surprised how clever you can be if you make an effort to find an easy but satisfactory solution.
6. There's no such thing as failure. Each time your plans fall short, analyze where they went wrong, learn from the experience, and continue moving forward.
- When you "fail," all you've really done is discovered an ineffective way of trying to do something. That's all. The knowledge gained only makes you more capable in the future.
Adjusting your attitude and making the changes permanent will take some work, but this effort pays off.
Your attitude affects your perspective, what you notice, and what you fail to notice. So by adjusting your attitude, you can shift your whole reality!
Examine the attitudes you already hold that may be limiting your life and happiness. What perspectives and beliefs would serve you better? Use the above ideas to start the process of adjusting those ineffective attitudes today for a happier tomorrow.
The Key to Riches.. Choices byDr. Robert Anthony  When we discover something is going wrong in our lives we have two choices. We can complain and blame, or change. I have learned not to beat myself up when things go "wrong" because that creates a very low vibration and by doing that I attract more of the same thing. Instead I ask, "How can this serve me?" In other words, if things did not turn out the way I wanted them to, I at least want to pull one good thing out of the experience. So my focus is on what I can take away from the experience that will help me next time. Then I move on.
Remember, if you think your problems are "out there" then you will continue to look "out there" for the solutions. Keep in mind that if you blame someone else for your problems then THEY have to change in order for you to have what you want and be happy. It never works.
Too many people take the victim road and end up in a ditch. When you PLAY the victim you FEED the victim and the universe sends you more opportunities to be one.
Riches flow to those who are accountable. In fact, let's take accountability to the next level. Let's talk about being accountable for EVERY single thing in our lives. That's right - I said everything - even when you are convinced it is not your "fault". You will always experience the greatest results when you become fully accountable. Only when you become accountable for EVERYTHING can you be responsible to change ANYTHING. Peace of Mind Tips and Advice (Cont'd) enjoy a few moments of inner calmness and freedom from obsessing thoughts. What is peace of mind? It is a state of inner calmness and tranquility, together with a sense of freedom, when thoughts and worries cease, and there is no stress, strain or fear. The question is, how to bring more peace of mind into our life, and more importantly, how to experience it in times of trouble. First, you need to learn to bring more moments of inner peace into your daily life. Later, you will be able to experience these moments in times of trouble or difficulties too, when you really need inner calmness and tranquility. Here are a few simple things that can help you: Reduce the amount of time you read the newspapers or watch the news on TV. Stay away from negative conversations and from negative people. Don't hold grudges. Learn to forget and forgive. Nurturing ill feelings and grievances hurts you and causes lack of sleep. Don't be jealous of others. Being jealous means that you have low self-esteem and consider yourself inferior to others. Jealousy and low self esteem, often lead to lack of inner peace. Accept what cannot be changed. This saves a lot of time, energy and worries. Every day we face numerous inconveniences, irritations and situations that are beyond our control. If we can change them, that's fine, but this is not always possible. We must learn to put up with such things and accept them cheerfully. Learn to be more patient and tolerant with people and events. Don't take everything too personally. Some emotional and mental detachment is desirable. Try to view your life and other people with a little detachment and less involvement. Detachment is not indifference, lack of interest or coldness. It is the ability to think and judge impartially and logically. Don't worry if again and again you fail to manifest detachment. Just keep trying. Let bygones be gone. Forget the past and concentrate on the present moment. There is no need to evoke unpleasant memories and immerse yourself in them. Practice some concentration exercises. This will help you to reject unpleasant thoughts and worries that steal away your peace of mind. Learn to practice meditation. Even a few minutes a day will make a change in your life.
Inner peace ultimately leads to external peace. By creating peace in our inner world, we bring it into the external world, affecting other people too. Play to Win There was a time in most of our lives when we had no fear-that feeling when we jumped from the jungle gym and slammed our little bodies to the ground. Perhaps it was when we went on our first roller coaster, or when we were in high school or college and felt that there was nothing we couldn't do. No goal was unattainable. We were an unstoppable force that would think of something and then make it happen. Then, as time goes by, the world tells us more frequently that we can't do what we want. The doubters laugh at our goals and try to persuade us from going after our dreams. They say, "You're crazy. It's too hard. Why don't you do this instead? You should play it safe." They act as if dreams were meant for others but not people like us. They surround us with negative energy and try to instill their own fears and insecurities in us. We not only begin to know the word "fear," we start to understand what it's like to be fearful. With so many people telling us we can't do something and so few telling us we can, it's hard not to let fear into our lives. Unfortunately this is how many of us go through life. Whether you are 20 or 50, many of us become so scared of losing what we have that we don't go after what we truly want. We play it safe and hold on so tight to the status quo that we never experience what could be. We believe the doubters and don't take chances that will move us one step towards our dreams. I call this "playing to lose." We see this in sports all the time when a team has the lead. They start to think about how not to lose instead of how to win. They hold on so tight to their lead that they start playing safe and scared. You can see it in their energy and body language. As a result the other team takes chances, plays with no fear and eventually gains the momentum and wins. To live a life filled with positive energy we must learn to repel the energy of fear. Whether it comes from within or from another person, we must overcome fear and adopt a "Play to Win" mindset. Playing to win requires a commitment to yourself that even if you fail, you will never give up and never let your goals and dreams die. Those who play to win know that success is not given to us. It is pursued with all the energy and sweat we can muster. Obstacles and struggles are part of life and only serve to make us appreciate our success. If everything came easy we wouldn't know what it felt like to truly succeed. Obstacles are meant to be overcome. Fear is meant to be conquered. Success is meant to be achieved. They are all part of the game of life and the people who succeed play to win and never give up until the game is over. Finding Our Own Path Entering Awareness  Entering into our own spirituality is a private journey. Each of us will be drawn to a different gateway to begin on our personal path to awakening to a greater experience of ourselves. Even though we may be taught certain philosophies or beliefs as children, we still need to find our own way of understanding and applying them in our lives. For those who are raised without a spiritual framework, they may not even know their process as a form of spirituality. But at some stage in their lives, whether in youth or adulthood, they are likely to recognize the resonance of their beliefs, the ring of truth in their philosophy, and their dedication to their chosen purpose.
Our inner guidance will lead us, so that we will be drawn to the right doorway for us--a doorway that only we can recognize by the way it makes us feel inside. It could be a picture of an angel or the gift of a crystal. We may meet someone special who shares their experiences with us in a way that we find intriguing. While visiting the home of an admired friend, we may notice a book or statue of a diety, and ask why they chose those tools. Or a word or phrase may catch our attention in a song, or a lecture. For some they may find their way by walking through the experience of illness before they begin the search for what will help them to truly heal, while others may seek physical improvement and stumble across yoga or meditation--only to find that it leads them to an unexpected place beyond the body.
As we awaken to ourselves and to life, we will become more attuned to what is right for us. The universe speaks to all of us through infinite channels, but we each have our own frequency. Others may share what worked for them, but only we can decide what truly makes us feel inspired, awakened, connected, fully conscious, aware and alive. Whatever our path, it is perfect and is meant especially for us.
